The Pool Bar is the epitome of style. Relax on the comfortable pool loungers whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the Steenberg Mountains and beyond. For sparkling winter days there is a heated pool for the dedicated swimmer.

The serene setting of the Spa at Steenberg has a gentle yet powerful aura that radiates from the Steenberg Mountains. A multi-faceted therapeutic service is on offer.

A championship 18-hole golf course designed by Peter Matkovitch surrounds the hotel. Special green fee rates are extended to hotel guests. Award-winning wines are produced at the Steenberg Winery. Winery tours & wine-tasting is on offer.

We offer facilities for sophisticated winelands weddings. Whether it is a wedding for two or a celebration with family and friends, every detail will be taken care of. Situated in quiet and invigorating surroundings, Steenberg Hotel is a regular venue for meetings and seminars and can cater for conferences up to 25 participants.

Catharina's Restaurant was awarded the American Express Platinum Award for Fine Dining 2005. Catharina Ustings, the first owner of Steenberg, lives on through the nuances of Catharina's. Experience the captivation of flavours - tempestuous, exotic, contemporary & delectable. A fresh & innovated blend of classical cuisine amidst ageless splendour.

Rich dark wood, antique carpets, oak furnishings and display dressers filled with original Spode crockery create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Being an old wine cellar, cosy dining alcoves have been created in the original vats. Both the main dining area and the cigar lounge feature fireplaces. A section of the original wine storage areas have been turned into small wine cellars, keeping the more than 80 different wines on offer at optimum temperatures. These mini cellars form part of the restaurant and can be viewed whilst dining, giving guests the feeling of dining in a cellar.

The breakfast conservatory offers all weather dining in the intimate surroundings of sun dappled vineyards and gardens. Full a la carte and Continental breakfast menus available.

The cigar lounge offers an ideal venue for a pre-dinner aperitif or a cigar and cognac after a perfect meal. The Pool Bar is the epitome of style.
